Hello everyone! To all those living in GB only 7 days till the OLYMPICS! And even more importantly looks like the weather has turned! Bring on the the sunshine and barbecues- I am going to my first one of the summer on Sunday, should be really good!
So I have been on my summer holidays for 2 weeks now and as of 2 hours ago I finished one weeks work experience with Sytner BMW and MINI. It has been an incredible week, I was working with the Marketing Midlands Area Manager and she was brilliant! I have to say all of the midlands dealerships are full of really lovely people and they made me feel very welcome. Working with two very funny and bubbly marketing managers has taught me to lighten up and enjoy life by having fun and being crazy more often. This week has been really insightful and has helped me to understand more about the industry.
So thats two weeks of my holiday over in a flash. The rest of my holidays are pretty full despite the fact I am not going on holiday, apart from a couple of days in Durham. I'm volunteering at my local Oxfam Bookshop and with the Summer Reading Challenge so they should be really good experiences. Finally I have to go to fitness sessions at school because I really want to get fit this summer. So I will also be going to the gym!
Apart from blogging I really need a Summer Project so any ideas?

- Hello, my name is Caroline and I'm 16 years old. I am currently doing my GCSEs with my options as History, Geography and Latin. Latin? Why is she doing latin? Sometimes I ask myself that same question after an hour and 20 minutes of it! But I love seeing where languages came from, the connections to English especially. Latin is in my eyes the founder language and the language of words. I love words and English so it's only natural that I enjoy Latin. My main interest other than writing my blog is reading and as I develop my blog I am hoping to indulge you all with my thoughts on books, reading and where I think their future is heading.
